Civilab can supply a range of AS 1012 compliant Concrete Compression Testing Machines. From lower cost manually controlled machines through to fully automatic systems with capacities up to 2000kN and meeting all Class ‘A’ calibration requirements of NATA and AS 2193. Click here to download.
Measures up to 5000kPa. The CISP allows estimates of when concrete mixes are approaching their initial set. Internal range 0-50 Kg/Sq.Cm. External range 0-700 Lbs/Sq.in. Click here to download.
Method for determining the SLUMP FLOW of self compacting concrete (SCC). Used for determining the time (T500time) it takes for the slumping and flowing SCC to reach a diameter of 500mm and the J-ring passing ability, where the aggregate does not exceed 20mm. Click here to download.
Method for determining the slump of concrete the the normal size of aggregate does not exceed 40mm. Click here to download.
SOIL TESTING
The CIVILAB Motorised CBR machine is based on a VJ5011-RS Triplex 50kN compression machine with a stepper drive system providing strain rates from 0.01 to 50mm per minute making it suitable for a variety of UCS tests. Control can be manual or fully automatic via the optional computer logging software. Click here to download.
CL24300K DYNAMIC CONE PENETROMETER KIT. Click here to download.
The compaction test is used for determining and controlling the re-compaction of materials used in pavements, embankments and other fills. The Maximum Dry Density and Optimum Moisture Content determined by the tests are used as a standard for field compaction and a gauge as to the effectiveness of the type of plant being used. Click here to download.
Consists of a sturdy two column load frame incorporating a load cell and hydraulic jack. The upper crosshead incorporates a self aligning 105mm diameter platen. Load is indicated on a battery operated load cell indicator and is calibrated to 80kN x 1.0kN. A peak hold function is included. Dimensions approximately 450mm wide x 750mm high by 300mm deep. Weight is approximately 125kg. Click here to download.
Asphalt Testing
The Marshall Test is used to determine the properties of a finished asphalt concrete surfacing structure mix to be used for construction of roads or pavements. Click here to download.
